Personalised Location Map & Photo Print — Meridian
The place on one side. The people on the other. Neither first.
A photograph and a map, each held in a circle and finished with a fine gold-coloured ring, side by side on a pale ground, the rings crossing where they meet like two links of a chain. The title sits above; your words sit beneath.
The two circles are identical, and the overlap is the point: the people and the place are joined, not merely set near each other. The map’s circle asks for very little — a village, a bend in a river, one crossroads in a city — and holds it as closely as the photograph holds the faces beside it.
Lodestar is the same pair with the night sky in the second circle. Meridian is the one with the place — the ground you actually stood on.
